Friday, April 08, 2005 so you see r.e.m. play live after 11 or more years of waiting and excitement and that thing that music does to your chest when it's at it's best - and you spend the following week feeling far more like yourself than you ever have before- less reckless, less careless, more aware, and just as fun - then you send and recieve a mix tape to a like-minded friend who probably understands and inspires you like no one else around. and you ask him, did the postman come today? "he came... oh, by god he came. i think you saved my life today" message recieved friday 8th of april 2005, 21:16:06. it doesn't matter - "feel free to love or hate it at your free will" - something's and the people they find themselves embodied and transported and delievered through can make you feel like that moment of childhood you'll never forget once again. life is not an obligation anymore and we are once again living wild and free examined lives - we are doing what we can and we should be proud of ourselves once more - we are great people and tomorrow is not just another day - it will be 24 hours that are inevitably going to change our lives forever - and there will be plenty more to come and follow i will see tomorrow morning for the first time ever. posted by Simon Friday, April 08, 2005
