Wednesday, December 17, 2003 The fact that you can see your reflection in a CD is one of the reasons why they’re better than vinyl. If only they came with those kick-arse sleeves. Damn. There was a time where Lou Reed’s solo albums simply clicked for you, and they crystallized the chemicals in your head. Tough work pays off very much like a casual summer job does. You were meandering in your bedroom, partaking in random acts of random acts. After listening to an album for a third time that night, and finishing another and secret “bedroom-beer”, you fumbled and dropped the CD onto the carpet. Looking down upon it, you tried to think of something to make the moment sacred. And you did. Alone, half drunk at 2:34am on a Tuesday night, you caught the sight of your face in the CD on the carpet.
