Monday, September 29, 2003 i'm going to have to torture my soul in one way or another if im going to make something of this life. but what of happiness? there are worse things in life than being lonely - being rich and famous and lonely could perhaps be the most critical low - if you're going to be lonely, you may as well be pathetic - snuggle up to the coldest corner of your bedroom wearing those pajamas your mother ironed for you and try and find some comfort there. yes, we are laughing at you. yes, we are having the best time with each other. yes, we know you're there. no, we don't care. posted by Simon Monday, September 29, 2003 |
