Tuesday, October 22, 2002 last night a rather disturbing thing happend to me after work. you see, for around a month now, i've noticed something moving and sliding around in my right shoe. my right "work" shoe. i could tell that it was something flat - but that was all. i had no idea of what it was. furthermore, i had no idea of how that flat something got into my shoe. for the month i noticed it, i decided to leave it. truth told me that it was none of my business. to leave it alone. i got home from work last night and took off my shoes. i always take my right shoe off first, and as i did, i noticed a 5c coin lying flat inside. it was quite a little surprise. i mean, for a month i had just thought it was a piece of paper, a piece of shoe, sticky tape. and all this time, it was a 5c coin. as i said, i have no idea how it got there. so therefore i think it is fitting that i will now have no idea of how it is going to get out. what a waste of money... ... i mean, how much does it cost to produce those things? posted by Simon Tuesday, October 22, 2002 |
